The effect of social support components with the mediating role of assertiveness on the quality of life of working women in Tehran

The purpose of this research was the effect of social support components with the mediating role of assertiveness on the quality of life of working women in Tehran. For this purpose, to conduct the present applied research, which is descriptive and correlational. 500 women were selected as a sample from among the women who were working in various jobs in Tehran from the fall of 2009 to the end of the spring of 2009, using the available sampling method, and the questionnaires of assertiveness, social support, and quality of life. completed Finally, the data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation test and path analysis model. The results showed that the components of social support have an indirect (through assertiveness), positive and significant effect on the quality of life of working women (P<0.001). The results confirm the role of social support components in increasing the quality of life of working women.
